Sabrina Sanford

Sabrina is a nature-loving empath who has always felt deeply connected to the world around her. Professionally, she is a nurse who integrates her caring spirit into her writing, drawing on her knowledge of healing and herbal remedies to create rich, authentic narratives. 

Her literary passion lies in retelling historical and mythical stories, particularly those from the medieval and post-Roman periods. In her debut book, The Untold Story,  Sabrina reimagines the story of King Arthur from the perspective of his foster mother, focusing on human resilience, love, and the natural world rather than magic.

While Sabrina's work is steeped in history, it is her belief in the power of nature and love that sets her apart. Her research into Celtic and Roman cultures brings a fresh perspective to these well-known tales, and her unique storytelling emphasizes the strength found in human connections and understanding. 

When she is not writing, Sabrina enjoys reading detective stories and mysteries; listening to a wide range of music, from classical to rock; and spending time outdoors, especially at the beach. 

Sabrina admires authors like Bernard Cornwell, Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child, and Marion Zimmer-Bradley for their compelling storytelling.
